Fellow Knuts,

I am lagging in getting my eye surgery for cataracts.   I am not completely down but I am headed that way and I can only participate to a given extent in so many activities.  I will be leaving the forum for at least 6 months and possibly longer. That’s the current estimate.  I will stay on the “roadside assist list” for I-5 near Eugene, Or and help you any way I can on your travels should that need occur.  My email  and phone are listed in my profile if you need/want to contact me.

I will have the wife review the posts from time to time and let me know if I should answer something through her.  So far I still have a license so you aren’t all that safe on the road.LOL

I wish you all the best.  It has been my pleasure and honor to have shared this time with all of you.  Till then…Schwarzenegger (I’ll be baak)  smiley face

Good luck with the surgery.  I had cataract surgery last year.  There was a fast and substantial vision improvement.  Recovery is really not that long-- maybe 4 to six weeks.

Good luck!  When my mother had cataract surgery, they did one eye at time but even then she was only a week or less recovering.  It seemed almost instant gratification!
