PD-4104 Built by Flxible?
« on: August 23, 2006, 06:42:34 AM »
I thought I was up to speed on GMC PD4104's.
But this one is a new one on me.
This is the reply I received from the seller on ebay after I had made mention to him it was a GMC Coach PD4104.

1955 GM 34' Flxible Bus Coach RV  (140021936246)
This is a GM Flxible RV body built in Loudonville Ohio in 1955. Very similar to the GMC PD 4104 built in Pontiac Mi.

Some one had better buy it as it's a one of a kind Flxible that look's like a PD4104.

Looks like he's corrected the ad, as it now states GMC coach, including the VIN (PD4104-1542).

Since this bus went to Oklahoma Transportation Company new in June of 1955, I'll bet Fred's driven it, eh JLV??

This guy states that the engine on this 4104 "slides out of rails for servicing".

Huh?

I've owned one of these for 6 months now and love it, how do you figure I missed that?  That's gonna make that rear crank seal I need to replace go a lot easier.
