Now to keep this completly bus related he has a 58 MCI Courier told me I could have the bus for 500 Canadian and he would throw in the three crates of Unknown parts. I looked in and saw lots of Gaskets and aluminum panels  that I didn't recongnize

I have contacted three diffrent DD dealers and they cannot find that serial number. If you change the 9 to a 4 it comes up as a 1995 6-71 I will need the model number to pinpoint the rest of the engine. It is a mui and probably an aftercooled engine. Their has been a lot of talk about the silver engines however the only true silver engine designation of the two-stroke is the 92 series no others. That comes directly from DDC.

One other thing, DD did not track all serial numbers and they shipped a lot of engines from the factory without serial numbers on them. And there are a lot of engines out here with serial numbers on them that can't be tracked for what ever reason.

I am going out again today to take a look at that bus and the 3 crates of parts.

The price is too cheap to not look closer at the parts.

I will read the serial # myself  on those two motors and confirm.

I try find out how much he is wanting approx.

Okay Don  I read the serial # with my own two eyes ( with glasses on   )

The serial # he gave originally  had one to many 2's

The serial # is  * 6A 92767 *

I took pictures of the other three power plants, that I can send to you directly so not to bore the others.

As far as price it sounds like he wants to get  $3000.00  both motors and  gear box.  ( you might get all 5 for that )  he sounds in a clean up mode as oposed to  anything else.

All the crates of new parts have Rouston diesels ltd.
