I had to replace the head in our bus last spring, two days before leaving for our trip to South Carolina I found that I had freeze damage that couldn't be repaired...  I picked up one of these  Dometic 310's at our local RV supplier on sale for $135.  Totally satisfied, cleans well, seals well, is full sized in both height and seat, installed in minutes (took a lot longer to get the old Thetford mini horrible unit out).  If you are looking for an inexpensive china throne, it's a recommended choice as far as I'm concerned.  Only had it for one season, mind you.

Not where I bought mine, just a handy link.

I have the THETFORD Aqua-Magic style ll  in my bus, it's full china and uses residential seats. You can get it in 14" high or 19.5" high. The mechanism wipes clean with every flush. I really like this toilet in comparison to the cheap ones in the stick and staple RVs that I have owned. FWIW

I have this one and like it very well. I got mine off eBay for a good price. I like how it flushes also.

As extra insurance I put 1/4 turn shut off valves at toilet and sprayer so when we leave the coach for any long time venture I shut those off as well as pump.

Dave,
I already added the 1/4 turn to my toilet.
Good idea!

John, FWIW we just installed a Dometic 310 and am very happy with it so far. $145  locally @ JW RV Vegas, took all of about 15 minutes to install, like with any toilet, watch out for the freezing temps. good luck!
