MCI ::: MC-8 Windows (NEED)
« on: September 28, 2006, 02:42:12 PM »
Anyone have "decent" frame and glass for 74/75 MCI MC-8 bus.  SECOND SET BACK.
Not the first hinged set with the angle, but the second hinged set which is straight.
Looking for left and right sides.
Prefer double pane, NO CRACKS glass.  Looking for quick and painless swap. :D
Distance to pick up also a factor for practical purposes.

Also:  Anyone have any (new) space hinge rubber for the battery compartment you want to sell??

I do have "some" MC-8 parts for trade if interested.

Hi Jerry,

You missed a great weekend a Bruce's.... Even I was singing...Ha Ha!

Anyway, I just left Luke's [was camped out there wed and thu] He has lots of 8's and windows.

I also know he stocks all the rubber hinges.

Yeah, really wanted to go, but since school started back up ... not enough hours in a day for all the things they do, we do, etc.  Glad you guys had a great time ... were earplugs distributed for the Kareoke event?

I'll check with Luke re: windows.

Thanks,
Jerry H.

I have a few of MCI-9 windows and frames from my 82 that I may never need.
If they fit your application, you're welcome to pick up a couple of them. No charge!
I'm in NJ  across the Bristol Bridge from Bucks Co.

Thanks for offers of windows from '5' and '9'.  But 9's won't fit and (I think, what?)  Alberta ... a bit far.
