Kubota generator engine overheating story
« on: July 28, 2011, 09:46:55 AM »
I had an experience, similar to Melbo a while back, with my Kubota generator engine overheating. Thanks to his thread, and Clifford's advise about an air pocket, I was able to bleed the air easily. Since the top of the remote mounted radiator is lower than the top of the thermostat housing, I lowered the back of the bus and raised the front with the airbag leveling system and after filling the radiator, it was easy to bleed the air out. I will add a coolant overflow tank as soon as I find one.
So, Thank you Melbo and Clifford for your posts in that thread. Sam MC8
