I need to replace the fuel pick up line on my MCI. I can not find anything in the manual about how to remove it. Is it a part that I have to purchase from MCI? Does anyone know how to remove it?
Thanks!

In the tank, or from there to the engine room?
Fuel line is all in copper, intended to last the commercial life of the coach, which it has.
You won't find anything about changing it.
Keep typing, we'll get you through it!
happy coaching!

Sorry....it is in the fuel tank that I believe needs the repair. I ran the engine out of fuel at a 1/2 tank so I am guessing that the pickup tube has a hole in it inside the tank. I hate to take it on a long trip far from home and find out that there is indeed a hole in it and run out of fuel on the road. I can not tell by looking at the front of the tank how to remove the pickup and hate to spend time removing the wrong stuff.
Thanks

Have you physically verified the fuel tank actually had half a tank, or are you looking at the fuel gauge? It would not be unusual for the fuel gauge to be totally wrong if you even have a fuel gauge.

When you figure it out, Please post what you learned. I am faced with the same problem on my MCI. I am not getting fuel. Changed the fuel pump, that took care of part of the problem. I am now able to draw fuel out of a bucket, but it will not draw from the tank and my tank is half full. I have visually verified this. So I must have a pin hole leak in the line between the tank and the engine or in the tank. I was thinking of starting by removing the tank. So please share anything you might learn.
Thanks...

After running the engine out of fuel I actually thought that I was getting really poor mileage during the last trip. Fuel gauge was showing 1/2 tank I figured it was broken because I had run out of fuel. So I added some fuel and finally got it restarted (Thanks to help from the board!!!) I drove to the fuel station planning on a total fill and it only took 74 gallons.
