I was wondering if anyone had heard from Nick. Sandy came ashore right at Cape May.

We are riding it out in the Bluebird in southern Delaware inland. We moved into the bus Saturday night before all the rain figuring on losing electric for a few days. We have had LOTS of wind & rain but we are very fine with no problems at all. We lost electric around noon. Ran on batteries until supper time. Started the genny & ate supper & charged the batteries.

Still blowing & raining but we are finer than frog hair & happy as a pig in mud.   ;D ;D

God has been good to us!

In it, north of Philadelphia - lighting not happy, but still working.

From the Turnpike Commission:  the following Philadelphia major highways are closed 7PM Monday into  2AM Tuesday. Interstate 76 (Schuylkill Expressway), Interstate 676 (Vine St Expressway), Interstate 95 from Pennsylvania to New Jersey, Interstate 476 (Blue Route south of the PA Turnpike), U.S. route 1 from 9th street to I-76. New Jersey Garden State Parkway is closed and the New Jersey Turnpike is closed between exits 7 and 8.  PA Turnpike still open, including NE Extension.
Busnut wannabe.

Nick was posting on facebook this afternoon. (had just left the hardware store where he bought a rain coat!)
He also posted some pics of the flooding near there @ Ocean City.
