Procrastination is part of human nature.  I was involved in putting on a Boy Scout event recently.  The registration deadline was a week or so before the event.  Over 75% of the event registrations came in on the deadline day or the day before the deadline.  The organizers were sweating it out a few days before the deadline.

If folks put their bus board handle on their windshield cards and/or on their name tags, that will help.

I hope I don't sound like a smart @$#, but why don't you put the rally imfo up for new people like myself? I am new to this site and am still looking for my first bus, and have been told to attend the rallys to view the differnt buses and talk with you all about your current and past buses, but can never find imfo on the upcomming rallys?

Why are so many people on this site selling their buses? Is it because of the gas prices?

The ebb and flow of any hobby, same with boats, airplanes, artwork, collector cars...

Folks buy, and folks sell.

Add in the demographic, this hobby attracts older folks, many of us reach the point that we can't use or work on the coach as we would like, so off it goes.

Being physically able to do your own maintenance is a big one. Cost of ownership explodes if you have to pay for preventive maintenance or repairs.

Others will, or already have, moved on to build the next one.

Price of fuel is one tipping point, but there are many others.

Fuel is not the only expense, just the most immediate one.

Oh yes, the getting too old and unable to crawl around/under like I did 25 yrs ago made it easier to give up my big toy and go with a store bought Foretravel, I take it back to the factory (Texas) for service as the places that are capable of doing good work on it are very slim to none, now Cummins does the engine, all electronic leaves me in the dust, give me a mechanical DD and I'm happy and an sharp employee does the oil & lube etc.
Oh, the cheapest part of these toys is the fuel, so enjoy  ;D
The older you get the less money you need and more is coming in, go figure,
50 years ago was fresh out of Boot Camp (Paris Island) making $78 a month, gasoline $.13 gal during a gas war, anyone remember those ? Been a long hard road, but have won my game.
