Speedometer Repair?
« on: December 21, 2012, 05:07:19 AM »
My new (to us) Gillig H2000LF came with an electronic odometer that is not readable. I don't know if it registers mileage or not. Only the bottom half of the digits light. Can't read any numbers that way.

Any experience here? Of course the speedo is electronic. I'd be happy to pull it and send it for repair if I knew where. Should I buy a new one? Could the problem be in the computer or wiring? Any help appreciated.

Where there's trucks, there should be speedo repair. Send it in. Course you could just change it out to a GPS speedometer-uses GPS for speed and distance. Good Luck, TomC
