What's Up With BNO?
« on: January 06, 2013, 07:10:19 PM »
I was a member of the BNO site for several years, but I had not used it for a while. When I recently tried to log on, I was told that I needed to resubmit my request to belong. Something about them changing their software. I've been waiting more than a week for administrative approval, and I cannot find any way to contact whoever is in charge. I'd like to be able to use that site again.

Not sure either. I applied for new login a couple months ago. Got a quick "thanks and we'll let you know".

Well, at least I know it's not just me. Sorry you're having trouble, too, but maybe I don't need to use BNO after all.

Are you trying to log into the old site??

The new site has registration info at the top header.

I came to that conclusion a long time ago.  If its worth discussing it gets discussed here.

News:Welcome everyone! Your old Username and Password will NOT work here if you try to LOGIN before registering on this new board. This new software doesn't know you exist yet, so you have to register first.  Click the REGISTER button on the navigation bar immediately below this message. When the new screen pops up, you can Re-register using your old Username and Password if you like, or create a new one. After re-registering, you should be able to login without any problems. There is also a whole article written to assist you. Scroll down to the section entitled BNO BBS Help and click on "Stuff You Need to Know" and read the "REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS" article. Welcome Aboard :~)

I had not been on the site for quite some time because I forgot it existed after my computer lost its memory and this I lost mine. But I re-registered about 10 days ago and it still will not let me in saying "admin has not acted on your request yet". So no access to the new site but you can access the archives, if you need to.

You have spell-check here also. Just right click on an underlined word and it willl give you choices. You pick one generally the first word, click on it, Done

With thanks to BCM for their patience in these matters of busnut community support...

skykingrob and lostranger, you are good to go.

My apologies, holiday season activities cut into reviewing the mass of registration attempts, mostly by undesirables.

zimmysurprise, you were approved shortly after you registered back at the end of October.

Let me know via pm if you need a password reset.

happy coaching!
