Hello Folks,
Thought I would put a little intro here along with my "new to me" coach. I have been kicking around posting the picture as I think it has a little ways to go to really look as nice as most of yours. You all have some super nice busses!! I love'em all, old to new!!!
Mine is a '73 GMC 4108. It has a 8v71 and allison auto. Other than that......... I'm still learning!! ;)
As a matter of fact, I just committed the cardinal sin of owning a diesel................. yep, ran it out of fuel.  >:( :o :-[ :'(  *#$%@*& Any easy ways to prime the ol'girl back up?? Man, if you have ANY suggestions, please PM me as I don't want to hyjack this thread. It's too cool.
Anyway, here she is:
I guess the old saying applies here too- "don't laugh (too much), she's paid for". lol
[/img]  Some one before the guy I bought it from did a pretty nice job building it into a coach, but I am going to re-do allot of it and "soften" up the interior.
I will be having ALLOT of questions to post so I hope you all don't mind and can help. But my first one will be how can I get it running again!!  ???
Thanx for the great site!!! I'm a "nut" and it's great to find a bunch more!!!  ;)

Well its home!!! Only had to drive it 50 miles or so but every thing went well, brakes felt good, trans shifted good, engine ran good. The ride and handling was better than expected, front end feels nice and tight

Hopefully I followed the directions on posting photos correctly.

My bus and I. 1991 Neoplan just out of service, it still has current license, 8-92 with push button Allison. Speedo doesn't work but my car reported 70 mph when I was at about 1,800 rpm. Drives great very lite steering and no pull. First project is to see if it fits in my shop; 42X48 with 12 foot doors. That is 42 feet deep so it will be close if it doesn't fit the next project is an addition to the shop with a 20 foot long pit.

Lee:

I was just looking for some images of diecast models for a new magazine website I am putting together, and I chanced across this model of your bus: It looks like the grille is slightly different on the US version, but other than that it looks the same. Cool bus and a cool model (and less than £18, so pretty good value)

And a model of my bus! (Actually, not that I'm picky or anything, but it's a very slightly earlier version with the step in the side glass just behind the front door).

Got the bus in the shop, felt like docking the QM, with the help of several spotters had inches on either end. Had to remove the mirrors to get through the 10'X12' doors but they slide on and off; you can see the slide at the top front of the side window.
