1964 PD4106-2516

1st owner bought it 4-3-1989 from an island resort in Washington.  They began the conversion and completed it in the early 90's.  Not sure why they lost interest in the coach, but my wife's grandfather bought it in 1995.  I bought it from grandpa in September 2017.

Pictures are of my daughter from the first time I ever saw the bus (wasn't allowed to enter or touch it), and the day we picked it up to drive it home.
I am finding things every day that are so cool about the coach.  It is such an exciting adventure.  Love, love, love it!!
Research told me that this was originally purchased by Alaska Hyway Tours.  They bought 3 buses in 1964.  Bus 2514, 2515, and 2516.  They numbered them 109, 110, 111 in their fleet.  Check out the really cool and original find.  I have all the receipts from the complete conversion along with all the work that has been done since.  It is really interesting looking through them, seeing what was bought, the cost back in 1989, etc.

Let me know if the pictures should be sized differently.  I have many I plan on sharing on the trip home, along with the story.  It was more than an adventure.

Built by my wife’s uncle over a 13 year period
We’ve ad it for 3 years now and 14000 miles

Transmission Allison ht747
Both rebuilt 7000 miles ago
All custom interior done in solid wood by professional yacht builder

I have updated the cooling system with aluminum radiator and pusher fan which keeps the engine temperature down to the 150 to 170 mark
We really enjoy traveling in this house on wheels and have met some great people on our travels so far
Looking forward to many more miles and great adventures

New to this forum. Not new to buses, I have been working on buses and motor coaches for over 42+ years, so I know my way around the mechanical side of it. I recently purchased this unit, (cheap) a 1995 Prevost XL 40’ seated coach from a customer ( it needed a transmission) series 60 Detroit/B500 Allison. I currently have the whole drivetrain out of it and hope start my conversion this winter. That where I will need some help. Especially on the waste and freshwater tank side of things. I will try and post some pictures as things move along.

Hello Fellow Bus Enthusiasts!

New bus owner here with the WildFlower. She is a 1979 MCI 9 (yes its a girl because I am a father of 3 daughters so no dudes in my family) starting to learn the in's and out's or her. Bought her in Phoenix last month and drove her all the way to Knoxville TN. Just recently came back from Myrtle Beach with her last week. Starting to get ideas on what to do first with her. (repair wiper motors, replace bellow bag, etc) all in all, a great coach for a first time bus owner. Looking forward to learning and meeting you awesome people.

At least you're sheltering in style. Looks great. What kind of awning is that?
