Coach Painter
« on: April 19, 2013, 05:41:49 AM »
Any other coach painters out there?
I painted coaches for 27 years in Columbus, Ohio, plus I've done vinyl/paint stripes, lettering and signs.
I'm certified in DuPont and PPG fleet systems and PPG waterborne systems.

Welcome aboard, Coach Painter.

Columbus, Ohio? Where do/did you work? Are you by any chance Star Jet? If so, this will get interesting. ;D

What kind of bus do you have?

Oh yes, it is a common courtesy to sign you first name at least. That way we don't feel like we are talking to nobody.

Cheers,

John

Welcome to the board!   It's always good to have folks that have made a living doing painting, engines, etc to answer questions that people like me, that do our own work and don't want to do two or three times to get it right. Once again welcome and get ready to answer questions, thanks, Glen

Hi and welcome. I am also a refinish tech, certified in DuPont Imron, Chromax Pro, and PPG Envirobase. 38 years in the trade, I mainly work in the automotive industry, but have painted my share of both coaches and trucks.

Maybe Coach Painter doesn't own a coach, just paints them.

Could be, Bill. I will say I get suspicious when someone doesn't reply. I was LOLing to myself, because if he is Star Jet, then no wonder he might not want to reply. I would be kinda disappointed if it was Star Jet, and they didn't come back. Would love to ask some questions ;D

And CoachPainter, we are happy to have you. Just make another appearance and let us know more.
