Any bus nuts near the Kansas City area?
« on: June 26, 2013, 10:30:34 AM »

Any bus nuts around the KC area that wouldn't mind showing off their rig, discuss their purchase, and other miscellany?

Not necessarily looking for buses for sale near us, just want to see a few more buses and discuss the experience with more owners.

We would be willing to drive a couple hours or so for a day trip.

Feel free to PM me if you'd like.

I know this is heresy to say this on this site, but one thing you should do as part of your investigation is to go look at some store bought motorhome conversions. I am not saying you need to buy one, or even convert a coach to have the same features, but to steal ideas.

The companies that convert coaches often have decades of experience and from that they have learned what works, what doesn't and how to make a reliable coach.

Great suggestion Jon... we did that during our search as well, to get a really good feel as to the range of conversions out there.

George, some of the brands to ad to your research list might include Wanderlodge, Newell, Liberty, Custom Coach and Marathon. You can probably find some of these nearby to take a look at too. There are some truly lustworthy coaches out there.. and older but great condition Wanderlodges and Newells can be found for some amazing deals.
