« on: June 27, 2013, 07:59:07 PM »
I can get some tires at a good price. The owners said they are trailer tires. can I use them as drive tires, steer tires?

Not advised since the tread pattern is made for a trailer. And typically the trailer tire is stiffer to combat scrubbing when turning. Especially do not use them on the steering. Tires are the most critical component for safety on your bus. They determine the traction and braking force. Spend the money and buy proper tires for your bus. This is why Michelin makes over 50 different models of tires for trucks and buses. Good Luck, TomC
