Knowing or at least thinking the Eagle that Matt owns now would be my last bus and age a factor it was named End of the Trail seemed fitting to me but the Indians gave me such a hard time both the 4000 dollar mural and the name were removed.

Now if I had to do it over again I would tell the Indians here were I live to go to hell and keep my name and mural

Maybe we should change ours to squaw peak.....LOL

People keep trying to come up with a name for mine but nothing has stuck ... I'm kinda thinkin that "Senior Moments" ought to get painted across the back bumper or somethin.

Our 1948 ACF Brill was named"Brillopad". Several years ago, one of our FMCA chapter members had a Flxible double decker named "KNOTABUS".

Well PASO has been with me for a long time. It is made up of my first two letters in my name and the first two in my wife's.

Our 40 year old business uses that name.

When two way radio's were used in the 70's I was PASO 1  each operator was Paso 2  Paso 3  etc....

When I got the bus I was suing someone so as a dig I had the sign put on the bus. :)

And when you have a Bus it is never just  "one" so Paso One  is my current Money Pit

The previous owners called our GM 4107 "Gotta Go" and we kept it for a year.  We were going to rename it "Feathers in the Wind" but it was a bit whimsical.  When I retired my co-workers suggested we change it to "Larrabus" which we actually did and had it printed on the destination sign.  But that didn't feel quite right so we painted it over and the bus remains unnamed.  Qayqayt is the name of my wife's indian band and I used to use it a lot for my "log in" on various sites which is why you see it here but it's hard to pronounce.  We're thinking possibly staying with the native theme  like "Dreamcatcher" or "Spirit Quest" but so far nothing seems to fit yet.

USBUSIN Was the license plate on our 4104.

It meant "us", the wife and I "busin".  It also meant "us", United States "busin", as we criss-crossed the country many times in our dear old 4104.  Put 150,000 miles on USBUSIN.

USBUSIN was our 1960 PD4104 for 16 years (150,000 miles)
USTRUCKIN was our 2001 Freightliner Truck Conversion for 19 years (135,000 miles)
We are busless and truckless after 35 years of traveling

We call the bus "Daddy's Hobby" but this far into it ... HIGH MAINTENANCE might be a better choice.

At least one of my friends calls my bus Priscilla.  Priscilla is the name of the bus in a Australian movie call The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.  A couple of gay guys drive around in a lavender colored bus.  We actually watched the movie during one of our trips, but it was kinda stupid.  It apparently made a fair bit of money in Australia and was nominated for several major film awards.  (No, I'm not gay.)

The same friend keeps threatening to paint my bus lavender after Priscilla in the movie.

Never seen the film but aware of it - they evidently paint the bus pink half way through

A shameless plug for my business - visit www.magazineexchange.co.uk for back issue magazines - thousands of titles covering cars, motorbikes, aircraft, railways, boats, modelling etc. You'll find lots of interest, although not much covering American buses sadly.

I wonder why my friends keeps wanting to paint the bus lavender because that is definitely pink, not lavender.  Lavender is more of a purple color.

The history of our Eagle is pretty well documented and we probably could have named it "Honeysuckle Rose with a number" but that name is still being used and we aren't sure which one in the chronology it would have been.
So 19952 is now named She and I.
lots of people think it refers to me and my dog...
And others think that my wife is first...
and they would be right..
And so the nod goes to
ALABAMA
 SHE AND I
She and I live in our own little world
Don't worry about the world outside

She and I agree, she and I lead a perfectly normal life
Ah but just because we aren't often seen socially
People think we've something to hide
But all our friends know we're just a little old fashioned
She and I
