Every time I've gone there are fewer and fewer RV surplus places.  RV Surplus Salvage has moved so check for their new location.  I would call places to make sure they are still in business before going there.  A lot of the lists of RV surplus places show businesses that don't really sell RV surplus.

Looking at the websight, rv salvage seemed close to Camping World price wise....

Hello: We went to Elkhart 2 weeks ago, Didn't make it to Bontregers this time, though I've bought from them over the web before. Just didn't have time to go everywhere. We bought a Villa Sleeper couch from Bradd & Hall, (main objective) a Dometic Penquin II heat pump from RV Parts Nation (formerly RV Surplus) (special ordered) and as many small items as we could pack in the car (hardware). Was only there 1 full day and only made it to 3 places. Couch deal took most of our time. Took all the Chicago toll roads (under construction) on the way there, avoided them on the way home. Would go again and try more places. Ask the locals which stores are worthwhile. Lots on the north side of town. Have fun! Gerry H

I have a fairly recent list of RV surplus stores here. I have been to most of them in the last 2 months.

Note Bontragers are closed on Saturdays.

John, If your looking for motorhome windows, I have 7 windows that are 26" x 49 1/2", 4 for the pass. side and three for the drivers side. I also have the drivers sliding window for a MC 8/9.  If you are interested and want to see pictures, let me know and I will e-mail them to you.     Richard
