Scott,

Are the Hollands a musical family who travel in an MCI?  We are trying to contact them regarding our Rally in Q during Jan. Any help would be appreciated.

I think Cliff is in BHC or at the Dam rally. I plan on seeing him in Phoenix this week.

Yes, the Hollands are the music group with the MCI. They are in Phoenix at the moment and we are driving from Palm Springs today thru Phoenix to Tucson to catch our flight back to Michigan tomorrow. We are trying to spend an hour or two with them today. I'll pass your message on to them :) this was the photo I meant to upload:

Seems like you're following us :)  We were in the Palm Springs area last week, did a night in Quartzite, and just left the Phoenix area yesterday to continue eastward.  Heading towards Austin now for Thanksgiving with family, and then Florida for the winter.

General Patton knew!!

If I remember correctly,  when General Patten set up a tank training camp there, he tapped into those lines to get water for the troops.  He did this without asking permission as he knew it would take too long to get permission.  So, he told Los Angeles after he had done it.  Doesn't that sound like General Patton?

That is what I remember from visiting the General Patton Museum at Chiriaco Summit many years ago.  Here is the museum link:

Scott, those pumping station are not used much anymore they are along the river also on CA 95 too the "Law of the River" stop the water starved state of CA from taking what ever amount they choose too from the Colorado River.

Fwiw water rights in the West if you own a little land they are a good retirement benefit, agencies from CA are always here in the valley trying to buy your water rights for a year for $$$$ per acre

If you are around we will be in Phoenix on Wed call me on my cell four 80 3 one nine 16 sixty two

good luck

Clifford what you been smoking? respectfully!.... They are their because LA southern Cali ( the other state)can't stop building and used all your water up so they try to take northern Cali farmers water. Now the stupid politicians who own Buses of course are building tunnels to transfer or as we call it steal water from the Sacramento Delta and American Rivers in the Sacramento and San Joaquin Valley's which is going to kill the Salmon & Steel Head fishing and bus campgrounds of course even though we voted it down.
