If you are running 315 x22.5 most require a 9 inch wheel and I have do idea what inset or outset the MCI uses for that you need a parts number from MCI

good luck

You can run either a 12R-22.5 or 315/80R-22.5 on a 8.25 x 22.5 rim. But-check with the tire manufacturer-most will publish a special weight table just for the 8.25 x 22.5 rim. For full weight carrying capability, these tires should have a 9.00 x 22.5 rim. Good Luck, TomC

George, find a couple of pieces of something that will span the rim of wheel. Have somebody hold one of those across the back of the wheel and stick a tape measure thru the wheel and touch or hook onto it. Place the other piece across the rim on the outside and see what reading you get from the tape measure. You can also do it by yourself, just need to get creative, like set the piece that is behind the wheel on a can or something at the right height.

Hello,Yes running the 315/80R/22.5 on the steer.Been lookin at books and such, all say 9inch to 9.75 recomended but some books say an 8.25 ok also ? I have been trying to do the stick measuring tape and stick thing, but my readings are ranging around all the above 8.25 to 9.75 because im not sure if should measure between the outside wheel or the inner bead. I want to order stainless simulators and they want to know the wheel width to get the correct size. thx for the help.... George.

The wheel width is measured between the beads the only correct way is dismount the tire if you cannot find the numbers
