Saw a bus towing a bus today
« on: June 26, 2014, 06:52:14 PM »
I was traveling today and saw two school busses, each was towing another school bus down the interstate at 70 mph.
I did not think they would have had the power to do this. I wish I had been able to get a picture. I just thought I would post this for all those that want to tow something big.

It's how school districts now are reducing their staffing costs (only one driver needed for two busloads of sprogs) and fuel.   Next year we'll be seeing roadtrains of school buses.

Were there kids in the towed bus. I can't imagine that would be legal. There would still have to be an adult in the tow to keep an eye on the brats. Perhaps the bus was broke down or it was a new delivery. How big were the buses?

They weren't being towed.........they were mating. That's how school buses are made.

"Gillig Breath." I like it! May I use it for my superhero alter ego handle?

Glad there are still some people that appreciate the late Johnny Carson's humor.

School bus gender can be determined in one of 2 ways. The male tends to have more black than yellow. The female tends more often than not to have aluminum wheels as opposed to steel.
