Bahia Honda State Park

Probably our favorite RV site in the South East.  The only down side is how difficult it is to actually make reservations: even 11 months in advance they fill up within seconds of becoming available.  We usually rely on the "check every day for cancellations" method, and it has worked so far, but only for short stays.  The park is several miles of beaches and seagrass areas with the remants of a bridge providing extraordinary sunset views.  The protected swimming cove has one of the best beaches in the Keys, and when the seas are particularly calm the other side of the island has indescribably wading: knee keep crystal clear water for a hundred yards out.  Very limited WiFi available on the deck near the store.  Several great geocaching spots.
