Jim, thanks for posting that ---- a very enjoyable read.  Glad to hear from the snow bound in NC.  It does have a tranquil quality to it if you're ready for it and have nothing you've got to do. 

I've always enjoyed a couple of good snow days.  Everyone goes into a panic at the first flake around here, but I like a reasonable amount to break up the winter. 

Count me in on the group that watches no tv.  Cut mine off over 2 years ago.  Haven't missed it.  Have much more time to do things more fun.
