Finally got time to start the bus. To recap another post, it set up for just about 2 years. It didn't take two revolutions before she fired right up. I don't have a RPM gauge like my other units had but it sounded like it did when I bought it. Unlike my DD's it puffed smoke for about 15 seconds and cleared right up. 85 psi oil. The volt meter read 27 volts but the gen. light was on? I tested the batteries and I was getting 27 volts and after shut down the gauge went back to bottom -20 so the gauge is working.
1. I have a air leak that controls the right side fan but its just a crack plastic line so no problem there but the air never got pass 75- 80 psi on the gauge. Would that small line loose that much air to keep it building higher pressure?
2. After she warmed up, I pressed the acc. pedal and it roared I think way to high. Even on my DD's with high throttle it sounded much higher so I shut her down and went to the back. Checked the levers and the moved easy without sticking went to the drivers pedal no problems so I started it up from the back. Moved the throttle levers back and forth without any issues but when I went back up front, I first slowly pressed and let go several times and as soon as I pushed harder it ran away again. Went back to the back and same as before nothing was stuck. Any ideas?
