Allison help please
« on: January 11, 2007, 12:28:41 PM »
Does anyone have any GM P/N 12103881 connector pins?  These are Delphi - Packard used on the Allison VIM for connecting to peripherals.  It is a female crimp type terminal. The same pin is used on many DDEC connectors.

Even better, if you have the pins and the proper crimping tool, could you make up some short leads for me.

I can only find them in large quantities.

Thanks,

Len

Len, if you can post or send me a picture of what you need, I will be happy to help you.
If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's called a metri-pack connector. Most sensors on DDEC used this, Allison VIM, some ABS connectors too.
I'm pretty sure I have what you're looking for, not a problem at all. I'll make whatever you need.

Len, sounds like your fixed up. Last winter kids spilled some pop in my atec selector unit. It was over $1500 at DD. Found a rebuilder in Mn. They are Gen Diesel Electronics @ 218-262-4553. Their price was under $200! When I told them I was a bus converter and not a commercial business they sent me a free atec manual to help me sort things out and said call anytime for help with my ddec and atec issues for free support. They have a catalog with everything from wire looms to ECM,s. They shipped next day air for me and needless to say that phone number is always with me.
