Transmission Model from Housing #?
« on: July 21, 2017, 02:51:27 PM »
Can you tell what transmission model you have from the part number of the trans housing?

The model number is either worn off or the plate just isn't there so I can't tell what the transmission is.

I found the transmission housing part number which is 6881746, I understand this to be an Allison part number but can anyone point me in the direction of the model it is for? I am trying to find it and so far no luck.

Thank You!

I didn't take one of the full trans, just the PN I found. I will take one tomorrow though. Thank you for the feedback!
