4108 Bay Door Adjustment
« on: November 14, 2017, 12:32:03 PM »
One of our bay doors is not closing just right - the top right corner is a bit away from the body of the bus when the door is closed. It's not a major thing, but there is a slight (1/8") gap between the door and the gasket going down from the top right corner for just a little bit. The top right also seems to be a little lower than the left.

The manual seems to indicate that to adjust I should move the lower pivot down, enlarging the holes in the mounting bracket if necessary.

Anyone attempted such an adjustment? Any advice on getting the top right of the door pulled in a bit?

Look carefully that the plywood ceiling isn't bowed or warped from water damage in the past. Also, make sure one of the rubbers isn't starting to part.
