MC8 Lavatory Removal

So I have the entire lav out and i'm left with this...
I did a search but found nothing about the air hoses/valves that are left. Can I just cut them off smooth or I thought I remember something about an alarm maybe? Wife wants me to build a couch for the kids on that ledge...

Trace back and terminate properly.
You don't want a S**TT* air disablement...
Happy coaching!

Looks like the water circulation line. "Water" is not the correct term. Filthy holding tank contents is more like it. The blue water circulated around the hole in a circular fashion to "rinse" the sides of the can. There was also an air circulation fan motor accessed from the engine compartment that pulled fumes out. 8's and 9's did not have a flushing lav, they were just an outhouse on wheels so no air lines in the lav just the exhaust fan and water circulator. Did you wear your haz mat suit?

Just took the tank out of mine last weekend. You will have two straps that hold the tank up.the best way I found was to remove as much of the fiberglass shield around the tank and expose the straps a claw hammer worked great. The strap bolts are 9/16 and are tucked in real close to both left and right sides if standing behind the bus. I removed that hose with no problem so far.hope this helps.

Angle grinder is your friend. Cut it all out. Cut the straps. ScRap or throw away everything and be done with it. This is like a 5 year old unwrapping a Christmas present...

Thanks, I will try and get back there tomorrow and see what I can find.
I WILL say that I found a label less beer bottle underneath the insert, underneath the toilet seat. Just weird...
