Please try this:

After you've logged out:

Click the login button WITHOUT filling in your username.

You'll see this screen which is attached.

Click the checkbox to "Always Stay Logged In".  And enter your username & password as usual.

Please let us know if that fixes the issue.

Hope this helps, Phil

I didn't do this but now I'm staying logged on.  I also was able to switch to the "blue theme" -- no more red/on/red and grey/on/grey type face.  I'm happy!   Thanks for all your work.  Now I can read it AND we can post photos.  (Also, things seem to be loading quicker - any changes made so this will happen?  if so- big win!)

Changed to core theme, much better. I personally would like something like the older windows themes with light grey background with black lettering.

The logout problem should be fixed, changed cookie settings yesterday.  Let us know if anyone is still having problems.  Did some tweaks in database, special characters should now be displayed correctly.

I also was able to switch to the "blue theme" -- no more red/on/red and grey/on/grey type face.

Oddly, there is no red/on/red or grey/on/grey in Inferno theme.  I've viewed it in IE11, FF60, and Android Silk, all colors display correctly as in screenshot I posted above.  Would be interested to know which device/os/browser you're viewing it on.  Phil is leaning toward using default Curve theme, I'll set that up and switch everybody over tonight.

Everything here should run faster.  You were running outdated software on an obsolete platform, everything's been upgraded on new server.

Thanks for the work in upgrading the forum!

Since the switch, Tapatalk hasn't worked for me. It says "network error" and won't load any threads or let me login.

As noted earlier, we are still working out some kinks.  Then we will get Tapatalk configured.  One step at a time.

Gary, Phil & Krash -

I'm looking at the new forum using the most recent FireFox on a PC.  I'm not sure how to do a screen capture, but here's what I'm seeing across the top of the reply screen right under the date and time:

BCM Community >> Bus Discussion >> Bus Topics (click here for quick start!) >> Post Reply ( Re: Migration complete. Please let us know if issues! Thank you. )

This is the same thing I see on the main discussion page when it's a topic I've already clicked on, or when somebody posts a URL link in one of the threads.  The color is a light grey, but it's almost invisible on the grey background.  I used white to emphasize the difficulty - which has also been noted by several other forum members, from myself to Buswarrior to Clifford and others.

The old board used a color combination that |@N still uses over on the BNO BBS, which, of course, is what we're all used to.  I have no objection to changing the colors on BCM to differentiate between the two, but the issue of not being able to see URL links and titles of previously read threads needs to be fixed.

FWIW & HTH. . .

 ;)

Hi RJ !

I'm seeing this (attached).  Could you login again, or refresh?  The default theme of the forum is no longer to use the Black/Dark Orange / light grey, but it's now similar to the previous, blues, etc., ,

Easier to read, etc.,

The blue theme is more comfortable, and the sign-in is back to the upper left. I guess change is good if it is an improvement, but we are used to the previous format, and it worked well. Better picture handling will be a big plus.  :D

Picture sizes allowed are now more than 5x larger IIRC.

Nope, no difference.   I still have to login every time, so evidently cookies are not being kept, even though I ask for them every time.   I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium.
