Installing an Aqua Hot in a MC9
« on: December 04, 2018, 06:28:53 PM »
After buying an Aquahot 600D nearly two years ago, we are finally getting ready to install it.  It’s a 1981 MCI 9 with a 8V-71.  I am wondering were is the best place to connect to the engine for the engine preheat feature?  I was thinking about tapping into the heater lines that run from the engine to the front of the bus.

Our 4106 had a Webasto which was connected like you're describing to pre-heat the engine. A small Bosch water pump was used to circulate fluid from the Webasto loop to the heater loop.
