MC9 Battery Door Latch Springs?
« on: July 29, 2019, 02:32:15 PM »
Does anyone have a source for replacement latch springs for the battery door on a 1986 MC9? One has rusted away completely and the other is not far behind.

http://completecoach.com/  These guys strip old MCI's and probably have a bin full of them.  Call and ask for Mando.  951 836 4440

Thanks, Gary. Complete Coach did not have any of the springs, but Mando referred me to Sam at Caylor Supply who did.

Great.  I am glad you found a source.   Probably better to have a new spring anyway. Complete Coach generally has a bunch of "previously loved" parts which are fine if you are looking for an engine or tranny and many other parts, but maybe not the best bet for a spring as they tend to get weaker over time.  Also, CCW may not stock parts that are easily obtained from other sources which are wear items anyway.
