It's all just a ploy to control the populace. Soon we will all be inoculated which gives them a chance to inject hundreds of micro miniature transmitters and receivers into our bloodstream so those can migrate to our brains and lock into control centers where they can track us and influence decisions and in worst cases (unreconstructed rebels) cause self termination.

You might think the range is too short but this is no longer a problem since the later generations of bird drones can simply sit on a power line close by to relay the signals. BirdsArentReal.com)

Also the volume of traffic is no longer an issue due to the new quantum computers.

Now that low volume testing has been completed (all the unexplained traffic deaths) they are ready to move on to widespread deployment. But don't worry about it, you will only be directed to make a few seemingly inconsequential decisions in compliance with the master plan. And you will be generously compensated for your compliance by stimulation of your pleasure centers so you really won't mind it at all. All this has become absolutely necessary due to Global Warming and the fact that the size of hollow earth simply is not large enough to contain the entire world's population. A certain amount of winnowing is simply unavoidable therefore the best and brightest will be selected and you will be one of them. (If you are not you will be magnanimously compensated by generous stimulation of your pleasure centers so that you will not mind anyway.)

This is all set to kick off just as soon as everyone turns in their guns, scheduled for next year's Superbowl Sunday. At that point it will be announced that the crisis is upon us and we must access hollow earth via the subway systems. Our newly elected officials will lead us into a brave new world where all Republicans and other undesirables have been left outside to be sadly wiped from existence by the ravages of global change. With a little help from those who know what is best for us. So trust us, we're the government and we're here to help.

So, just to be clear.   Is there anyone making fun of this guy Jim who has been wearing a diaper on their faces for 6 months or so now?  But, go on...act like he's the only weird one.  Sheeple are funny.  I used to think bus guys were independent and tough.  I  stand corrected.  Patrick.

On another board the mention was made of the inmates running the asylum.

So lets live up to our values!

It there were no inmates there wouldn't be an asylum, right?

So what fun would that be?

At the beginning of the "CHINA"" Flu i watched a video of a doctor who worked in a NY hospital treating covid patients. His advice was to maintain a social distance, use hand sanitized religiously, don't touch your face and wear a mask. His reasoning for the mask was that it made you more aware that you shouldn't touch your face. So for the last year my wife and I have lived as normal as you can under the circumstances. We are careful but it doesn't stop us from doing most things (go swimming every morning and going for dance lessons tomorrow). On the other hand I have a friend(same age-75) who hasn't left his house in a year  and a sister who lives is Sask where its 25 deg. below 0 who is going to her grand daughters birthday where they are doing it OUTSIDE) I don't know if the masks work or not.And I don't believe ANY  media anymore  either( on anything). But to me its a minor  inconvenience so I wear it IN CASE it does do some good. As an aside, I find it incredulous that we can put a man on the moon and  plan an expedition to mars yet can't determine if masks are effective or not.

Masks have been determined to be useless against something as small as a virus for many years.  Even surgical masks. The tyrants don't care about the facts.  The media will not report any facts, and big tech will unperson anyone who is gutsy enough to tell us unwashed masses the truth.  But the information is out there.  We're just too lazy to look it up while we are cowering under our beds.  Rant over(for now).  Patrick

Yes, viruses are much smaller than the mask can filter for, but does that really mean they are ineffective? Sneezes and coughs create droplets of saliva and that is something a mask CAN filter out. Plus if the person who sneezes or coughs is wearing a mask most of it will be contained before it can get out into the wild. So I don't think you can really say that they are ineffective.

Anyway it's more about viral load than simple exposure. Just a few viruses landing on you are not going to infect you unless you are particularly susceptible. They have to be able to multiply faster than your natural defenses can eliminate them. Slow that process down and you will kill it before it takes hold. That's why a shot of whiskey upon noticing a tickle in the throat will often stave off a sore throat or cold. Not because you weren't exposed, but because you decreased the number of infectious organisms, delaying their growth and allowing your body more time to kill the ones that were left.

Seems to me a mask can do a similar thing provided you don't find yourself in a virus rich environment. Which explains the social distancing.

Anyway, don't go out without your tinfoil hat.  ;D

For every study you have showing masks are not effective, there are just as many showing they are. If they were as ineffective as you claim, then hospitals would have ceased using them years ago to eliminate unnecessary expenses.

Rather than name calling and pointing fingers, I'd rather hear you make suggestions on how to solve this problem so we can get back to normal life. As long as this virus is running wild that will be difficult to do. So, if you feel masks are not the answer what do you think is?
