All sadly true and why we own coaches. My bus is sitting in the BC winter weather right now because the shop is full and it is warm and dry inside and I do not think about water leaks.

I love my 31 year old Newell Coach. Built like a tank with 1/4" C-channels all welded. Wiring and plumbing front to back are in PVC pipes. 2" marine grade double sandwich insulated floor over steel shell. Crazy how much steel they used!  Just had it painted. All aluminum roof and sides which are Riveted and bonded at the same time.

No second party in building some of the higher end coaches like Newell and Country Coach they were built from the ground up with a lot of steel
Life is short drink the good wine first
