Interstate Power Systems has locations which still work on both buses and DD 2-stroke engines. The location in Milwaukee is where my bus was serviced - top notch work but not cheap.

Stewart and Stevenson still works on 2 strokes in buses ,they have locations across the USA and they are not cheap either

That's interesting. . . WW Williams in Phoenix was the outfit that did the inframe rebuild on my Prevost's 8V92 after the PO cooked the engine.

Will they do ANY work on the two-strokes anymore?

For any folk near Southern California, Dustin at J & R Diesel in Riverside only works on 2-strokes in buses (and occasional marine engines).   He rebuilt my engine last year, and I'm very impressed with his work;  he machines heads and rebuilds turbos in-house as well.   So far, so good.

Times are changing with prices now ,I am showing my age but I remember when a DD dealer std price for a in frame on 2 cycles was $100.00 a cylinder and $150.00 with new injectors and rebuilt heads using all OEM Detroit parts . A friggn scan and sensor replacement on electronic engines will cost $1250.00 for a $40.00 sensor .Detroit dealers don't have to service a 2 cycle or stock parts for one MTU sold the rights to BMW for those and it sucks for OEM parts now
