When we first purchased Opti-Force 1, our converted bus, we were excited to discover that it came equipped with blown-in urethane insulation. After reading countless forums and magazine articles, we were convinced we had the best insulation money could buy.
However, our first trip to Boston in February quickly made us realize that the insulation wasn’t as effective as we had hoped. Despite having a strong propane heater, we struggled to stay warm in temperatures below freezing. This experience set us on a quest to find a better solution.
After researching and connecting with experts in the field, we discovered EHP (Engine Heat Protection) Rollboard insulation, which ultimately transformed our bus into a much more comfortable, quieter, and energy-efficient living space.
