Cincinnati Bus Rally - Great Lakes Converted Coach
« on: June 20, 2007, 06:07:07 PM »
Congratulations to Paul and Claudiene Elbisser, the hosts of the (1st Annual ??), very successful, Great Lakes Converted Coach Rally in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Great food, weather, seminars (plastic welding by Jerry Liebler, Alaska Touring by Steve Gibbs, and the Toyota Hybrid Technology by Lloyd Koppes), and tours.  One tour was of a Converted Rail Car, originally done for E.F. Hutton.

Paul may do another east-central rally, in coming years.

It was a great rally and my FIRST!!!  I am no longer a virgin and it feels goooooooooooood!!!  ;D LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
Great people and LOTS of information!!! I got to see some really nice and unique coachs and some of the guys helped me understand more about mine. Like putting a support on my auto trany.
The plastic welding was cool too. I feel more confident about making my own tanks if I can ever come up with reasonable priced plastic.
Sorry, no pix here either!!! But I think Paul got a few!!  Paul??????????

Thanx again Paul for inviting me!! Linda and I had a really nice time. I am looking forward to going to more in the future!!

   No longer pure,    ;)

;D I have pics from the rail car tour and one or two from the antique truck garage. You'll have to wait until I retrieve them from my phone...

PS One of the best rallies I've been to.
Thanks Paul and Claudine,
Lloyd

Houndbus,
If you live in Milford, you could have almost walked there!! It was at the FMCA Mail center. I don't remember the address but it's close to you.
I guess now since there are pix posted, I'm officially not a virgin anymore.  ::)  lol
