Another Fatal Bus Crash.... Montgomery, Al.

that has nothing to do with the bus, other than the driver didn't avoid the SUV coming at him on the wrong side of the road.  All the new media say the SUV was going the wrong way.

obviously too fast and too late for the driver to avoid.  so far sounds like the suv driver is the only mortality.  passengers in the greyhound were injured.

I had this happen to me on a 4 lane divided highway and it was freaky. The car was headed right for me (at 140MPH closing speed) but my brain wasn't seeing the car for some reason until the last minute, I don't know if it was because I was only getting a direct front view instead of front and side view or because I was on a divided highway that my brain won't acknowledge that there was a car headed right for me ... like I said it was freaky.

and even the bus door still opened or at least was not pinched off.  Another vote for how solid a bus is built.  Imagine the damage a stick and staple would have sustained.
