Interesting article.  I can't judge the man but I woudn't care to risk my hard earned $ with him or his group.

He just might be innocent....like OJ!

Didn't Walker pull a similar operation near Arcadia, FL before moving up north?

Well, considering this little tidbit found on the same site, regarding his defense attorney, I think it's pretty easy to see where this case should be headed...

Personally, I think defense attorneys should be made to suffer the same punishment as their clients when found guilty.

BTW, here's the latest on the Walker Case...

Oh, and by the way, my prediction is that he will be found NOT GUILTY. That's how much faith I have in our judicial system.

not sure what the outcome will be, but What is wrong with the people he took,  What kind of moron gives up that kind of scratch without a contract and a agreed upon timeframe....or for that matter at least talk to someone who had gotten a bus from him.

Sure I think he is a crook, my Dad visited his shop on other business and came home reporting the guy was all talk, lots of people "working" but nothing seemed to be getting done.

Case of Buyer Beware......and him being a rip-off artist

I was one of the "Morons" that was taken by Sam Walker,  I do not consider myself as ignorant as I visisted the plant on 2 occassions and have a signed contract.  Part of the reason I went with walker is the comfort I had with  Nick Farrel who at that time was working with walker.  It wasn't until after they recieved my money did I find out that Nick was moving on as walker had used my money to pay off other debts and not purchase items needed for my bus.  Am I stupid, I feel it, but just so people know how slick walker is,  I own 3 companies that booked revenues of over 90 million the first quarter of this year.  I am a county commissioner in home state and speak at various medical forums on maximizing profitability of medical docs and hospital joint ventures.  Trust me  the adage "Buyer beware" is more important today then anytime before.  On a happy note I am the proud owner of of 2002 Prevost Royale conversion that has allowed me to travel around the nation with my family and enjoy this great country.

Doverdog - I'm glad to hear that you have moved on and are enjoying your Prevost.  It is unfortunate that in this life we must be constantly looking over our shoulder and are unable to trust our fellow human beings.  Truthfully, we live in New Jersey and upon first purchasing our bus, we saw his web site and spoke to him about doing some work on our bus.  I guess, fortunately, he informed us that he doesn't work on other people's buses, he creates his own, so that stopped us.  However, his salesmanship is VERY convincing, - how buying one of his buses would have been more economical than doing our own.  One just has to remember, that what goes around eventually comes around, and whether or not Mr. Walker is found guilty, Mr. Walker will have his ultimate judgement day.

Doverdog, I like those Royale conversions. I'm guessing you have a XLII. I think they quit doing the H3s around 2001. The wood cabinetry in a Royale is some of the finest I've seen. Congrats on the Royale.

Doverdog,

It's great to hear you are enjoying your Prevost.  It sounds like you can afford the loss you took and move on.  However, whether one is worth millions and loses $100 from a scoundrel doesn't minimize the feeling of being violated by the crook.  I would want justice and want it hard and fast, not to metion a little retribution to the jerk, also.   I'm sorry you had to suffer through that.

I've been surfing the bus boards since 1999 and Sam Walker has been mentioned many times.  Not once has the review been good.  It amazes me how this can continue with all the people who warn us not to use this fellow.  I sure hope some justice will be served when this is done.
