Tapping the Fuel Tank - Anybody have picture?
« on: February 01, 2008, 02:22:26 PM »
I have a friend getting ready to tap into his 102C3's fuel tank for generator, does anyone have pictures, or know of a link with pictures of this process on a later model bus?  It will save me a lot of time on the phone (pictures are worth...).

Thanks
Todd

I lucked out in that when I dropped the 130 gal tank it already had 2-5 hole caps where I installed the fuel gauge sending unit in one and in the other drilled two holes for the pickup and return line for the generator.  Maybe your tank also has that?  Good Luck, TomC

Go to a truck repair place where they repair over the road refers.  They have left over fuel pick ups with returns. ( new )

Hope this helps
