It seems our plans that we made to make the trip to the Cove have been changed which was not our choice so it looks like we will NOT be attending with or without our bus as we originally planned and I'm sure this will please the "one" person in this little clique that was kind enough to send me the email!

Whoever it was/is , you got your wish! I hope this brings a smile to your face. Lord knows you must live every day without one! Just so you know, I tossed it around for a few days and really thought about attending anyway, JUST to make YOUR day, but thought better of it. I figure if your low enough to send the message, then I'm big enough to stay away!

Our next outing will be at Fly Wheelers Park with real bussin friends!

Ya'll have a great time and hope the weather is good!   ;)

Well.  Damn.  I suppose now we don't have a fiddle player!   >:(
Susan was on for Friday night.   ???
We'll just save her place!   The money ain't too good, but?  ;)
Hope it works out!

BTW, there's plenty of diesel fuel up here...no gasoline, but plenty of diesel.

. . . . ."one" person in this little clique that was kind enough to send me the email! . . . . . . Ace

Would the person who sent that email please come forward.
There are some that want to thank you.   :o
There are some that just want to know.   :-\
There are some that don't want to be under suspicion.   >:(

I've had way too many phone calls about this. I can't fathom who would send something without standing behind it.

Short of a confession, who can ace send this 'email' to for identification of the IP address so the innocent can be cleared of suspicion?

Kyle I don't have the email any longer. After having pc problems, I installed a new spam control and it deletes the emails after I process he mail.

I would just let it die! The person knows who it is and to expose him publicly would only make things worse between us!

Like I said, ever since my dad passed away, I have taken life just a little more serious about grudges! Our time here is short and there's no way I am going to keep kindling a fire just to satisfy someone that has obviously many issues!

If he wants to send me another email, my box is open! If not, then he got the message of what people think of his actions!

Thanks everyone... but kind of sorry I brought this public! It's surely not bus related and I have been trying real hard to abide by the rules!

You guys and gals at the cove have a great time. We'll catch you another day, maybe next year if not before down here somewhere!

. . . . . And to the individual in question I extend to you and invitation for a watermelon suppository which I will be happy to install!

Now Bob,
Is that the way to welcome busnuts to a gathering? What kind of example is that anyway?

Besides, we don't need you getting a double hernia on top of everything else.

Let's strive for the high road & not fall to the level of this isolated incident.
Let's not allow this to divide us or cause sides to be taken. Allegations can sometimes cause more harm than the act.
Let's use this to think about how our actions impact others & maybe modify our own behaviour if needed.

To those who think they know who sent it, be careful in your rush to judgement, you don't have all the facts.
To convict someone with circumstantial evidence is not prudent.
A few thoughts come to mind;
Innocent until proven guilty.
Ignorance is bliss.

Personally, I'd rather not know who sent it. That'd be too much baggage to carry.

Life is too short to allow someone you don't respect or like to have influence on your personal esteem. Don't give others that power.
Don't allow yourself to be a victim.

Peace out,
I've got a non rally to non prepare for.  ;D  ;D  ;D

Well, I  have some bad news.   Spoke to Gene Lewis today and he's not going to make the Non-Rally.
Gene's dealing some health issues that are causing him grief.   Nothing life threatening or such...but it's interfering with driving the bus.
I suggested letting Francis drive...that suggestion wasn't a starter.
I'M GONNA MISS GENE'S BBQ!!!!!!  ???     I'll miss Gene and Francis too...but, Gene cooks goood BBQ!  :)
See ya'll tomorrow.

Hello Kyle ,I would like to know if it is too late to attend the non-rally in S.C.?
we've had a change of plans, so we will be free Friday afternoon, Sat. & Sunday.  It sounds like it would be a lot of fun to get together and enjoy a little music , will it be ok to bring my guitar?  PLease let  me know.  Thanks.

Gate is open & no one will be turned away (as long as you have a self contained rig - see first post concerning park rules . . . .)

Look forward to seeing you!

Bring your guitar, I'm sure you will be asked to join in with the others.

Kyle,
Thanks for the reply.  We are fully self-contained, we have a MCI5A. The route we are planning to take from Demorest, GA.  is to take Hwy 123 to
Seneca, SC. then left hwy 130 (Rochester Hwy) rt on 183 to Pickens then hwy 8 to junction 8/11 then left on Table Rock Road. Is this a good route, not to mountainous?  I like the back roads.  Also, is there anything special we
need to bring? Thanks.

Glen, take your sense of humor and stock up on bus lies and you will be fine.  Dallas and I had really hoped to be able to get there but this job is not quite done yet.  Cat

When I went to the Timmonsville rally, Cat & Dallas made it easy for all to feel welcome & participate. I did a poor job of planning & arrived flat footed & ill prepared. Cat said that was OK & there were ways to help other than bringing food. I've tried to do the same, all are welcome & are expected to contribute only in a way they are happy with. We all have different abilities & the fellowship is the most important thing. With a crowd this great, everything else will take care of itself!  8)  ;D

That said, suggested things to bring;
- outdoor chair (some of those tall tales are a lot of work to spin & weave.)
- sides for the potluck meals.
- tableware - plates, forks, cups, etc.
(There will be a limited supply of disposable plates for those who need it . . . .)

(there will be a donation pot to help out with the cost of the BBQ & hamburger stuff for those who wish to help in that way)

Friday night - baked spaghetti & salad (served until 10 pm for the late arrivals)

Saturday -
lunch - grilled hamburgers
Dinner - BBQ (thanks to ED!)

Sunday - Leftovers   ;D 8)
