House batteries

Hi all,
I'd like to connect 8 Lifelong 8Ds together for my house battery bank. What size cable do I have to use for that? What size charger should I use if I am using a seperate 3000w. inverter?
Thanks a lot!

Two questions, is the battery voltage to be 12 or 24 volts and does your inverter not have a built in battery charger?
Most of them have that feature included for the DC voltage that you want.

My inverter is 12v. I have yet to buy the charger.
Thanks!

I have been involved in doing some solar systems and for batterys they recommend using batterys with lower voltage in series to come up to your useage volts. For example 3-4volt= 12 or 6-2volt=12 or double that if your system is 24V. Hope this makes sense.
