This bus was built on October 1971 for the City of Worchester MA - #413. It was converted into a motorhome by Coachman the year it was purchased. The front folding door was sealed over and the RV door was installed in the middle by the 2nd owners.

Specs:

  • EPH-full-ad
  • 6V71 Detroit diesel two stroke engine (original engine)
  • Allison transmission
  • 2-speed with overdrive
  • 35ft
  • Approx 35,000 lbs
  • Mileage: Approx. 230k on motor as of 01/01/2026 (odometer stopped working at 230k)
  • Black and gray water tanks hold approx 25 gallons

Inside it's built out like an RV with a full bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room. There is tons of storage space. NOTE: Bathroom is currently mostly gutted (vanity still intact). Old flooring and carpet have been ripped up. Old wallpaper, wood wall laminate, and some of the “rat fur” lining removed.

As a warm shelter, it is livable as it is now when hooked up to electric. Water to sink available with direct water source hooked up and water pump reattached. It will need new bathroom plumbing/fixtures and new flooring put down as well as new wall coverings.

Comes with newer:

  • Rear Tires
  • Sportsman 4000 watt LPG Generator (only started 3 times)
  • Bosch on Demand Hot Water Heater
  • Batteries
  • RV/bus outer weather cover (only used one season)
  • Electric fireplace

Already has:

  • Working electric/lights in all rooms
  • Working stove
  • Working refrigerator
  • Working fireplace
  • Water pump (uninstalled)
  • Two working A/C units
  • Awning installed and fully functional but is old and has a few holes in the canvas
  • Clean custom size memory foam mattress

Overall she is big, old, slow, and so incredibly cool. Currently stored and registered in Oregon state.

Open to offers

Hoping to sell it to someone who appreciates the history of the bus and is excited about continuing to restore her to her former glory. She will need some work. I got to drive her down the west coast and had fun and now it’s time to move on. Would make the coolest tiny home or airbnb.
