Skoolie RV conversion. School bus with woody wagon exterior. Great for FAMILIES!
Only 32,800 original miles.
Built on a 2008 Chevrolet 3500 GMC Express Cutaway. 8 cyl, gasoline LY6 engine.
Hard to find a Skoolie with lower miles! Drives great. It has enough beds for a family of five. The bunks fold down into couches during the day and are the size of 4 sleeping bags plus the full-size bed at night. It is wired for shore power, standard plugs, and inverter with solar, plumbed for hot water, shower/sink, Separette composting toilet- compost for solids, grey tank for liquid. Though there is no need to remove the toilet for cleaning, if desired, it is easily removable through the side door of the bathroom. Additional insulation is under the roof deck. The exterior has stained wood to emulate a woody station wagon.
It is being sold AS-IS: The top of the wood on both sides must be re-stained and finished, or I considered removing it and painting the top 1/2 of the bus. The hot water heater pipe cracked due to cold; the hot water lines are over the bed and appear to be an easily accessible fix. There is a crack in the front windshield. The viewing cameras are wired for sides, front, back, and all around, but the back is out. The mini-split heating/ac doesn't always work consistently (however the bus's ac/heat are great). I can’t get the shore power plug to work, but the standard plug and solar do work. It would not take much to get her perfect.
. We don't travel much anymore, so hope this fits someone's needs.
