Unique conversion originally converted in the 90`s with a 10" roof raise. The conversion was completely redone in 2021 and 2022. The bus was stripped to bare metal inside and outside. The outside was painted with MS Protex Bed Liner, all the windows were removed and sealed prior to painting, the roof was pained with Bus Kote. Pluming and electricity was 100% replaced. The bus is autonomous with 3400W of solar panels, 1632aH of LiFePo batteries and two 3000W AIMS pure sine inverters/chargers. It can also be plugged to shore power. Engine is a 6V92T Detroit Diesel with a 4-speed automatic Allison transmission. The Turbo is new and the radiators were replaced in 2021. Runs nice with no issues. Great RV for full timers.

1976 Eagle 05 Bus - 10” roof raise, diesel generator, solar system, and fully off-grid setup.
I have lived on this bus for almost 6 years and traveled all over the country with it. Three years ago it had a full interior remodel, a solar system installed, and upgraded the battery pack.
The VA hospital originally owned the bus then converted to an RV and the roof was raised in the late 80’s, along with the transmission converted to an Automatic and the engine rebuilt.
The builder then lived on it until 2015 as a snowbird and I purchased it from his family after he passed.
The bus is set up perfectly for 2 people and the couch folds out for guests. The couch has storage underneath and almost 2 complete bays below for storage.
All of the water and electrical components are in the rear bay and 1/3 of the middle bay holds the Mini-Split unit and propane tanks.
The front bay is completely open and 2/3 of the middle bay is useable storage.
800 AmpH Lead Acid house battery (8, 200Ah 6V batteries).
1600 watts solar. All 100-watt flex panels.
Victron charge controllers and battery monitor.
The inverter/ charger is an older unit, It works great but could be updated.
The start batteries are 3 years old.
All new tires in 2019.
150-gallon Fresh Water Tank, 100-gallon Grey, and 50-gallon Black tank.
12kw Kubota diesel generator.
8V71 Detroit 2 stroke.
5-speed Allison automatic transmission.
10” roof raise.
Mr. Kool mini-split, Propane furnace, and diesel heater.
New GE pro series gas range converted to Propane and new low profile whirlpool microwave.
All custom Oak cabinets.
New flooring and tile work during remodel.
Washer dryer combination unit.
Full-size shower.
Full-size refrigerator.
2 Samsung Smart TV’s. 55” in the front, 42” in the rear.
Rooftop cellular router with WiFi repeater.
Rooftop tv antenna.
The bus is currently located near Reno, Nevada. I will be there for the next week clearing out personal items and doing some minor repairs. It’s ready to hit the road when you are.
Only selling to finance a boat. Have already seen this country and it’s time to see the world.
Built after a full year of research, in early 2021, it was driven on a cross-country road trip over the course of 6 months and performed perfectly. Built to be either shore-powered or off-grid, this Skoolie has a ton of life left in it thanks to its DT466 Turbo Diesel Engine, Allison transmission, 40,000 BTU Derale transmission cooler, Monroe heavy-duty truck shocks, and air brakes. If you are looking for a well-constructed tiny house on wheels with extremely low miles and ready for your next adventure, this listing is for you!
Soundproofing and insulation have been added for sound and heat barriers between the engine and the passenger compartment. The bus is also outfitted with new LED projector Headlights and headlamp buckets for optimal visibility. It is also titled as a motorhome, which means insurance costs are lower due to its legal RV status.
The exterior of the bus is largely painted white, although the left side has a hand-painted wave swell that seems to propel the bus to further adventures. Entry is through a standard passenger bus double door and the driver's cockpit is fairly “factory”. It does have some storage overhead, though, along with a surge-protected power strip and outlets.
Directly to the left of the entry door is the living room. This room includes a couch with custom storage underneath, USB/110v combination outlets, a 32” Roku Smart TV, and a Polk Audio Soundbar and Wireless Subwoofer that works with both the television and Bluetooth connection while driving. The space also features a work-from-home desk area complete with a mounted monitor and a surge protector.
Moving just beyond the living room/office is the kitchen that is split for both sides of the bus. The kitchen is equipped for great functionality and includes a double bowl stainless steel sink with a nickel faucet, a 4-burner stainless steel propane RV stove, an oven with a custom storage drawer underneath and even a 14.1 cu. ft. stainless steel refrigerator and freezer! The kitchen also features spacious butcherblock countertops and ample cabinet storage. The space is rounded out with a generously sized pantry.
The kitchen leads into a bathroom area that is perfect for those who like long soaks with their beautiful views. The soaking tub is 68 gallons and has an interior shower with a nickel tub faucet. Across from the tub is an Airhead compost toilet that makes being off-grid that much easier. The plumbing in the bus is constructed of PEX and runs inside the bus to avoid freezing on those cold nights. There is also a tankless propane water heater that services the kitchen and the bathroom. How would this Skoolie be complete, though, if it didn’t have a 100-gallon freshwater tank with a water inlet and a 55-gallon gray water tank with a sewer gate valve?
Getting a good night’s sleep in an adventure vehicle is easy with a bedroom setup like this! It has a king-size Euro Pillowtop mattress with touch lamp reading lights on either side. There are USB/110v combination outlets next to the bed for charging devices overnight. Beyond that, there is still room for storage underneath the bed platform, a hanging clothes rack, and a large dresser. It is every bit as cozy as a hotel room only this one can travel at 68mph through Death Valley, if you choose!
If you are looking to bring along a TOAD (a vehicle you tow behind your motorhome) or a storage trailer, you can do so as the bus has a 15,000 lb hitch bolted directly to the frame.
The garage, or area underneath the bed platform, can be accessed directly from the outside via the rear door. It measures 7ft. X 4.5ft. and is lockable for security. In it is a 100-gallon freshwater tank, a GE breaker box, a Growatt inverter/charger/MPPT combo, a Victron Bluetooth Smartshunt, and a Water Pump and expansion tank. All of this is powered by the four 190Ah house batteries (wired in series+parallel for a total of 380Ah at 24V) and is charged by an 1800w solar array on top of the bus and/or while the vehicle is in motion.
You never have to worry about getting too cold or too hot in this bus as there is a 12,000 BTU Pioneer mini split AC and heat unit, and an auxiliary diesel heater that runs off of the bus diesel tank. Again, this listing lacks no detail and can be your next home and adventure mobile in one for less than the cost of an SUV!
