When I go to Quarzsite you can spot the RVer's harvesting the sun they all park in the same direction and will choose one of the better spots with trees and park 40 ft from the trees

John,Uzing the link you provided, I pout some numbers in to see the effect of tilt and tine of year .wow, what a difference. I've been thinking my panels are poopibng out but not according to the chart.
Having panels flat at my latitude shows an output range of 4.5. with a 30% fixed tilt is about 2.5 difference. Did not try to find the optimal tilt, just picked 30 for ball park
