I may not be experienced enough to comment on this one, but the part that says "professionally built" would scare me. I am building my mc 9 because I won a "professionally built" travel trailer and it's junk.

This is one of the old Walker site link if it still works. Somewhere in there there is a picture of one tat looks like that one in progress of being converted. As I remember when I read it, it was being not only stretched but also had an extension put on it of 5 foot in the rear of the back axle. It did talk about the angle of approach also. I also remember at the time thinking of railroad tracks and how it may not make it over some.

Yep just found it. Same Bus being built way back.
If you go to the site and click on "NEWEST Body Styles" It is there. It even shows the extension and it dragging the ground almost at the back.

Dave it was "stretched" but only by the part added at the back! The rest is still a factory MCI!
It gives the appearance of being stretched in the mid section because of the 4 bay doors on the drivers side, but all they did was remove the OEM/OTR A/C compartment & equipment and put a bay door on there it you'll notice the fuel tank takes up a lot of that bay!

BK,
Your genius, that is what they did. I keep looking at it trying to figure out hy it looked weird. We are all so used to seeing our own with the Gen door that we don't notice when it is gone or different. Thank you now I can sleep ,HA,HA,HA

Funny that that is the same bus on their site eh!

That poor coach will be the devil to drive in a breeze, the front end will be way too light.

It will wander all over the road with every gust.

All the stock HVAC ballast gone, and the generator and drive train hung out the back?

I wonder how far back the engine is sitting, did I kiss the pic of the engine room?

Run away!

happy coaching!

Heck BW,
Just the price alone would make me run away, but you are so right. The back weight must be awful and I would think somewhat dangerous driving down the road. The insides of these fancy ones to my wife and I are not very useful to us anyway in our thinking.

We are simple people but like a little comfort and cozy in the winter. We both like to cook and those are kind of sterile and cold looking. We did a big walk through kitchen with tile counters ( Because I am a contractor and can do all the work myself), sink and refer on 1 side and the stove and cutting area on the other and a wood floor. Lots of wood cabinets, vinyl ceiling. Lots of pictures in frames that are family art or our own, but people walk in and say this is like a real home not cold. I guess to each their own. In the Bath I made a cabinet and used a framed picture for the door. Don't mean to offend anyone who cares for those, just my opinion. That and ten cents won't buy a cup of Joe, LOL

BW,
If you look @ the pics again find the one of the genny, and then look very closely @ it! The engine/drive train was left in the stock position while the rear end had 5' added and the genny is mounted there in that 5' behind the engine!
(at least they did extend the engine rails, to aid in R & R ing the engine for repairs!)
IF this bus ever sells it will be to someone totally mechanically clueless!

You can add wheelie bars to the back and use it as an attraction at the drag strip!!!
Man we will be famous I can see it now.
