Eagle came home
« on: August 18, 2010, 10:28:57 AM »
We got back yesterday a.m from our WY,WA. trip went 2,995, miles ave 7 miles per Gal. put in 2qt oil ran gen 76hr.
Had no problems but losing the big awning the first night out, left pieces of it in three states.
Saw a few converted buses but no chance to b.s. anyone.
Well back to pulling weeds and everything else i left undone and need to get done before the next trip.

Glad the trip went well, except for the awning!

Good trip Matt I am checking on another awning for you, with winter coming you do know she is a true snow bird keep her covered so she don't catch a cold lol. I am really starting to miss that bus now reading this post about yours and Carolee travels.
Thought you may get a little laugh from this the wife went to Texas to pickup the 2  grandkids she told them to put their stuff in the motor home they came back in a few minutes and told her big bird was gone nothing out there but somebodies little motorhome she had to explain that one to a 5 and 3 year old

good luck
