Rolled into BK's yesterday about 5pm with the Rally already in full swing. Ned and Wilma were positioned in the prime spot with their 4104 GMC. After sandwiching my Eagle between the 4104 and a big tour Setra, the party began.
Wilma served up some of the finest spegatii west of Italy, preceded by a delicious salad with fresh picked tomatoes, pink lemonade and, topped off with her very own Hostess vanilla cream cake. The entire affair was served up right there in the dining room of Ned and Wilma's 4104 and straight from the bus's ample kitchen: attending were Jeanie & Bill (BK's sister & brother-in-law), Ned &Wilma, your's truly and, of course, our gracious Rally Host, BK Bryson!
After some great conversation about motorcycles, buses, the general economy and, the caravan to Blytheville the following day, we all retired for a good night's rest.
This morning began with fresh brewed coffee, orange juice straight from the pail, pan fried Kroger bacon and, genuine Aunt Jamima Tennessee waffles right from the big Eagle's kitchen.
It's 12:15 and our caravan leader, Uncle Ned, now beckons me to fall into line for the trek to Blytheville down the ghost trail of highway 61. Should be at the staging lot by 5p.m.
