http://completecoach.com/ in Riverside probably has a shelf full of them. They have tons of MCI parts as they service a lot of charters with MCI buses.  Give Mando a call at 951.836.4440 and he may be able to ship one out to you on Monday.

  HI;
     Would like to know how you know you need a differential?  Did it come to a
     grinding halt?  Did it get too noisy?   Would like to know the symptoms for
     future reference.  Thanks.

I just purchased a rebuilt rear brake can from them last week. Called on Monday AM they did not have one in stock, but had a core on the shelf. He even went out to their yard and checked on a rear axle to make sure the ports were lined up for the left had side. Rebuilt it that day and shipped it the same day. Now that is one day service and David Santos is the parts man. Nothing but praise for them. Phone #1-800-300-3751. We are going to go by their place in Riverside CA on the way home from the California mini rally.

They could possibly have one to that is a huge place it has been there for a long long time it survived some way even when Carson liquidated Blue Bird through bankruptcy in 2009.The 800 bucks Gilbert  posted is going to be hard to beat for the center on a MCI 8 IMO

I can get him a differential out of a running MC8 for about that price. They were trying to sell it complete, but nobody offered to buy it so it will probably get parted out!
