Power Mirror Wiring
« on: April 25, 2020, 07:24:55 PM »
Hello All

I have a MCI 102dl3 Bus and I can't seem to find the wiring schematic for the power mirrors.  Can anyone tell me how to wire up the control.  It looks like there are 10 posts on the back of the control "stick".  I can't find the wiring in the manual.  My bus has the mirror's unplugged for some reason and I want to wire them up to see if they are functional or if I need to buy some new ones.  Thanks

Probably not original equipment for your bus; if you can't find it in the part manuals. Look for part numbers and ask the great oratorical god google for the part number along with the words power and mirror.

The mirrors are powered mirrors but the PO disconnected the switches.  So I have the adjustment switch and a bunch a wires that I believe go to the mirrors, however I can't seem to find the schematic that tells me what wire goes on what pin.  I downloaded the available manuals and have called MCI but the closest Manuel they have available is a 98 102d3 but mine is 96.  Perhaps that's the problem but even in the 98 manuals I can't seem to find the mirror adjustment control.  Can any of you look in your manual and tell me where you find your controls?

That seems to be one of the problems for the mid 90's DL. My progress has slowed down but I still plan to get to Louisville this summer to buy a windshield, and ask them while I'm there for the books. (CD is OK) I'll let y'all know how that goes.

The online schematics we can access are incomplete. Some pages are cut off short and some things just aren't there.

I saw it on the Internet. It MUST be true...

Search for a Ramco Mirror wiring diagram.

Compare the wire diagram and wire colors.

With some luck it could match up

Look on the master wiring diagram schematic it should be there. This is where the pdf copy comes in handy becuase the print is very small on the master schematic.
Some are called, some are sent, some just got up and went.
